Vision

For the Quality Office to be the principal engine of the shift towards academic and research excellence, so that Al-Bahith Academy for Postgraduate Studies attains a leading position among postgraduate institutions regionally and internationally.

Mission

To spread a culture of quality and continuous improvement across every academic and administrative part of the academy — through the application of quality standards, the support of research capacity, and the professional and transparent evaluation of institutional performance — so as to graduate distinguished researchers.

Goals

Spreading a culture of excellence: establishing quality as a daily way of working for faculty members, staff and students, not merely a paper procedure.
Obtaining accreditation: working to meet the requirements of institutional and programmatic accreditation set by the competent bodies.
Developing academic programs: monitoring and updating curricula to keep pace with modern scientific developments and with the needs of the research labour market.
Raising the quality of scientific research: setting standards to govern the quality of theses and dissertations (master's and doctoral), and ensuring their originality and their adherence to research ethics.
Measurement and evaluation: designing and applying measurement instruments (surveys, performance reports) to assess the satisfaction of beneficiaries — students, graduates and employers.
Continuous training: organising workshops to develop the skills of the academic and administrative staff in line with the latest quality standards.

To spread and support a culture of distinguished scientific research, to provide an environment that motivates researchers, and to activate local and international strategic partnerships for the exchange of expertise and the development of academic and research capacity, in the service of sustainable development.

Goals

1. In the field of scientific research:
Encouraging scientific publication: supporting faculty members to publish in prestigious journals of international standing.
Setting research priorities: directing research towards the pressing issues of the local and national context.
Developing laboratories: working to modernise the research infrastructure and to provide up-to-date scientific resources.
Supporting young researchers: encouraging postgraduate students to innovate and to take part in international conferences.
2. In the field of international cooperation:
Concluding agreements and partnerships: signing memoranda of understanding with local and international universities for the exchange of faculty and students and for joint academic programs.
Attracting external funding: seeking funding opportunities for research projects through local and international organisations and institutions.
Organising scientific events: overseeing the conferences, seminars and workshops held at Al-Bahith Academy for Postgraduate Studies.
Strengthening cultural exchange: through fellowship programs and local and overseas training that raise the competence of the academic and administrative staff.

For the library to become a leading beacon of knowledge and an advanced digital centre that supports research innovation and provides a stimulating environment for self-directed learning and distinguished scientific output.

Mission

To provide and organise print and digital information resources to the highest standards of quality, and to offer advanced library and research services that meet the needs of postgraduate researchers and help raise the quality of the academy's scientific output.

Goals

Building a specialised collection: providing the most recent references and scientific periodicals covering the disciplines offered at the academy.
Digital transformation: building an electronic database and subscribing to global digital libraries so that researchers can reach information at any time.
Supporting researchers: offering library guidance and training researchers in citation skills and in the use of electronic catalogues.
Preserving scientific output: archiving and documenting every master's and doctoral thesis defended at the academy (the digital repository).
Providing a research environment: preparing quiet, technically equipped spaces worthy of postgraduate researchers who spend long hours reading and analysing.
